    Gordonston Garlic Cheese Spread

    My mom used to make this for family functions, she borrowed the recipe but tweaked it and added her twist. This is a very easy recipe, it is great for parties or just keep in fridge for a snack. Serve with fresh French bread or with cut vegetables. Try it on a baked potato, its delicious. It is best to make it and let stand in fridge a few hours before serving.

     

    Ingredients

    • 1/2 cup mayonnaise


    • 1 (8 oz) package softened cream cheese

    • 1 (8 oz) jar cheese spread


    • 1/2 cup (1 stick) softened salted butter


    • 1 teaspoon garlic powder


    • 2-3 Dashes of Worcestershire sauce

    Directions

    Place all of the ingredients in a small mixing bowl. Mix well with a handheld electric mixer for about 3 minutes, scraping down the sides of the bowl, until completely combined. Store in a plastic container with a snap-on lid in the refrigerator. Serve at room temperature. Yields about 2 cups.
